Koren and Ryan live in Seattle and traveled south for their San Francisco City Hall wedding. Their plan was to elope at SF City Hall and then drive south along the California coast. It was a good plan. I first ‘met’ Koren and Ryan over a Skype chat. From there, most of the planning was done via email. One day, a few weeks before the wedding, I received an email from Koren. Since they were coming to San Francisco from out of town and eloping, she asked if I would sign as their witness at the wedding. It was a first for me and I was happy to oblige. Our adventure combined a fair amount of candid journalistic-style images along with an additional hour of creative portraits around SF City Hall. Below are a selection of images from Koren and Ryan’s Story.
Last week, I received a really nice note in the mail:
Just wanted to reach out and give you a warm thank you. We really love the photos. You definitely exceeded our expectations. After choosing to elope at SF City Hall, we knew that wedding photos would be very important to not only us, but to our family and friends. You took the pressure off of us by delivering these amazing photos and helping recreate the event for those that were not there. We will recommend you whenever we can. We wish you the best of luck and thank you for helping make our day perfect. Koren & Ryan”
