Lindsay and Paul called me the night before their wedding day. They were a little distraught. Their photographer had canceled at the last minute! They were planning a morning elopement at the Palace of Fine Arts on Pi day. The ceremony was set to start on 3.14.15 at 9:26 am. Of course, that’s the first eight digits of pi: 3.1415926. Pi is the ratio of a circle’s diameter to its circumference. No matter how big the circle is, that ratio is always equal to Pi! Below are a few images from their pi day story. And, here are a few words from Lindsay and Paul:
“Drew was entirely fantastic. He was a life-saver to begin with after our photographer got suddenly ill, and he then stepped in and truly took care of our wedding photography. He had a great eye for lighting and knew what pictures would capture the essence of the moment, he was friendly, professional, patient and he made it all look easy. A phenomenal artist.”
